In March 2009 Panalpina launched an Environmental eLearning program which was written internally in the Panalpina Corporate Head Office, containing 2 modules:
1. Environmental Management System
The key areas of training in this module are:
Definition and training on an "Environmental Management System"
Detailed training on the "PA Environmental Management System"
The eLearning program is very beneficial to all employees and enhances their Environmental knowledge to assist Panalpina reduce its impacts to the Environment.
12, 500 employees worldwide were trained in 2009 using this platform and it was translated into 9 different languages. In addition all new employees who join Panalpina now have to go through this training program.
