Roland Wider has resigned from his Executive Board and Chief Administrative Officer position of the global freight transport and logistics group Panalpina today. This decision was taken by mutual agreement.
The Board of Directors and CEO Monika Ribar have voiced their sincere thanks to him for his services rendered during the last five years. Originally appointed as the Group’s CFO in 2002, Roland Wider took over new responsibilities as Chief Administrative Officer for HR and IT in 2005. Roland Wider has in particular been instrumental in successfully establishing and developing the Group’s HR organization. His successor as Head of HR will be nominated in due course. Such function, reporting directly to CEO Monika Ribar, will not be an Executive Board position. The Head of IT (Günther Denk) will be reporting to Joerg Eggenberger, Chief Operations Officer.
