Panalpina has been present in the Norwegian forwarding market for many years. Retroactively per 1 January 2005, Panalpina took over its long-time exlusive agent and partner, the Oslo-based Overseas Shipping Group, which consequently changed its name to Panalpina Norway.

Panalpina Grieg
Panalpina acquired the freight forwarding, project and expediting activities of Grieg Logistics in March 2011.
With this transaction, we expect to strengthen the Panalpina global network and we will be able to offer our customers a broader portfolio of global logistics solutions.
The new company has been rebranded to Panalpina Grieg.
